We recently stopped by Bakery 1908 in Orlando, the experience was definitely memorable. The bakery has a long history—established in 1908—and you can feel that tradition in the quality of their breads and pastries. We tried several items, and each one stood out in its own way: Golden Onion with Cheese & Ham – This was the star of the visit. The savory flavor and soft texture make it one of their best sellers. Our friends loved it too—unanimously! Chocolate Lava Bread – Rich, chocolatey, and satisfyingly soft. A great pick if you enjoy indulgent pastries. Coffee Bread – Smooth coffee flavor with just the right sweetness. Very enjoyable. Sweet Heart Puff – Some of our friends tried this as well and really liked it. Light, sweet, and beautifully flaky. They also offer a membership program. I signed up and received a free bread, which of course had to be another Golden Onion—too good to pass up. Overall, Bakery 1908 feels like a great spot for both savory and sweet treats, and it’s easy to see why their recipes have lasted more than a century.

5 Stars for Two Amazing Asian Bakery Treats! The Golden Onion Roll alone is worth the visit—my new favorite! The Bakery: A cozy, charming spot with a modern vibe. You can either grab freshly baked goods from their display (they have a great mix of sweet and savory options) or sit down for a full meal. Seating is indoor-only. What We Ordered (Takeout): Golden Onion Roll – Incredible! The soft bread, savory sauce, and crispy topping (no idea what it was, but it worked!) created the perfect bite. Unlike anything I’ve tried before. Sliced Sausage Bun – Really tasty! Service: Simple and efficient—just picked our items at the counter and checked out. ????Parking: Convenient lot right outside the entrance. Final Thoughts: This place would be perfect for breakfast or a quick lunch. I’m already planning my next visit to try more pastries—or maybe a full meal!

Bakery 1908 is a great addition to the Lake Buena Vista food corridor. Build your own bowl is a favorite of ours. But the star of the show is the bakery! Lots of unique options and they are always fresh. Parking isn’t the greatest and it can get busy. We always feel that it’s worth the effort for the quality and service. Pro tip: get some baked goods to take home to eat later!

Bakery 1908 on Colonial Drive has quickly become one of my favorite spots to work and meet. I came here to cowork and have a business meeting with a friend, and it was the perfect environment. The space is very spacious, spotless, and filled with beautiful natural light thanks to all the windows! Such a calm, productive atmosphere. I was able to get a solid amount of work done without feeling rushed or crowded. Food-wise, everything was delicious. I grabbed a hot dog bun from the bakery, and also ordered the chive & onion chicken pan-fried dumplings, which were so flavorful and satisfying and let’s not forget the BROWN SUGAR LATTE OMGGGGG! Great ambience, clean space, amazing food, and an overall relaxing vibe. I’ll absolutely be back!! Yay!! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to work, meet, or just enjoy good food in a beautiful setting.

Bakery 1908 is an experience you simply must try. I’ve never had anything like it. The idea of picking up a tray and wandering around, visually inspecting the food and seeing exactly what you can get, is incredibly appealing. The ambiance is so pleasant, and the atmosphere is amazing. It’s a great place to sit down and relax. I highly recommend the matcha with the strawberry.

Bakery 1908 is hands down the best Asian bakery in Orlando. Everything from the moment you walk in feels welcoming, and the quality of their baked goods is unmatched. The pastries are always fresh, perfectly balanced—not too sweet—and beautifully made. You can tell so much care goes into every item. Their variety is incredible, whether you’re craving classic Asian breads or something a little more unique. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do, which makes the experience even better. If you’re in Orlando and love Asian bakeries (or want to try one for the first time), Bakery 1908 is an absolute must. Worth every visit! If you want it shorter, more casual, or more hype-style for Google or IG, I can adjust it.

It’s dangerous to live within walking distance of this delightful bakery. I came here three times in the first week it was open. They basically have three things of note - baked goods, dumplings, and bubble tea. The buns and cakes have never disappointed, savory or sweet, though there are some standouts: The red bean bun, the ham and corn roll, and the BBQ pork bun. These have been lunch more times than I care to admit. The chocolate lava roll is soft and pillowy but it’s hit or miss if you get one with enough lava. It’s also worth trying the pork floss if you’ve never had it. I don’t know how it compares to other pork flosses, but it’s a singular experience you should try at least once. It’s like cotton candy meat. The dumplings are delicious, particularly the siu mai. And the boba tea is top notch. You can control the ice and sweetness levels. The tea/milk ratio is always good, and the boba is a perfect texture. I make my own at home, but this is better. I also appreciate that they have infused water freely available. It’s a small thing but makes a difference.
